Installing SMAPI

Installing and launching SMAPI

1. Go to SMAPI.io and click Download SMAPI-4.5.x at the center of the page. Then click Download from GitHub to access the latest version of SMAPI.

1. From the Github page, look for and download the SMAPI-4.5.x-Installer.zip file.

1. Unzip the file and ****install by launching the windows.bat file.

   

   

2. When you get to the following page press ‘1’ to continue with the directory that’s automatically detected for your Steam installation.

If the Steam installation path is not detected automatically in Step 1, select Custom Game Path and enter the directory where Stardew Valley is installed manually.

1. When you receive the following prompt, select ‘1’ to ‘Install SMAPI’.

1. Once the confirmation message in green text appears, SMAPI has been installed successfully.

   Make sure to copy and save the green line that contains %command%, as you'll need it for a later step.

2. Locate Stardew Valley on Steam, press the gear (⚙️) icon and enter properties.
